So, it wasn’t very big world news apparently, but Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye announced a split a few days ago. The news made me think back of Oasis’ heydays, and especially the legendary Live at Knebworth Park concert in 1996. Watch it in full below!
Watch Conor Oberst playing songs from his new album ‘Upside Down Mountain’ live at The Green Space (April 10, 2014). It starts around three minutes in.
This is just beautiful: Neil Young & R.E.M. performing one of my favourite R.E.M. songs (Country Feedback) in 1998.
Another great full show on Youtube, by R.E.M. this time. This was a performance on ‘Rockpalast’. It was recorded in 1985, right after their third album ‘Fables of the Reconstruction’ was released.
A great, high-quality video of a full concert by Bruce Spingsteen & The E Street Band at Glastonbury 2009.
Empty Dreams, don’t we all have them? We found this video for an old song in our archives. Enjoy!
It’s getting pretty cold right now in The Netherlands.. Time to warm yourself by the fire and listen to the soothing new single of Alex van Holstein: ‘De Winter’, a duet with the Belgian singer Martine de Kok. The lyrics are in Dutch, but you’ll get the vibe! The song was recorded, mixed and mastered by me and Wilco Minderhoud at the Labtones Studio.
This is cool: Trevox Cox, professor of Acoustics Engineering at the University of Salford, has discovered the world’s longest natural reverb. It was found in an oild storage tank in Scotland. The reverberation tail has a length of 112 seconds in the 125 Hz band, which is quite impressive!
Bromley’s album Oh Oh Oh, which was recorded at the Labtones Studio by Wilco Minderhoud and me, is now officially released! You can order it on vinyl for only 10 euros by sending them a message. Do yourself a favour if you like indie and pop/rock and listen to the whole thing below:
